🐾 HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 🐾

From emergencies and urgent cares, to general practice and first-time puppy and kitten visits… from celebrating the victories to being covered in just about every biohazard imaginable😂, our Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and Veterinary Assistants (VAs) truly do it ALL!

Every single day, they show up with compassion, dedication, and one mission in mind: to care for our furry companions and be the voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Behind every patient, there’s a team working tirelessly to keep them safe, comfortable, and loved. There are long days, messy moments, emotional cases, and countless little things that often go unseen, but every single one of them makes a difference.

So, a HUGE shoutout to all of our amazing RVTs and VAs at Riverbark! You keep this hospital running, support our doctors, comfort our patients, and make a difference in more lives than you’ll ever know.

We couldn’t do what we do without you, and we hope you know just how valued, appreciated, and truly irreplaceable you are. Thank you for everything you do, every single day!!

🦄🌈 **No patient gets left behind at Riverbark!** 🩺💉

When one of our little visitors insisted that her rainbow unicorn stuffie needed a checkup, how could we possibly say no?! 🥹💕

Of course, we gave this special patient the full workup, drew a little blood, applied a very official bandage, and sent this brave little unicorn home with the best medical care around! 🩹✨

At Riverbark, we take care of the whole family… even the ones with rainbow manes and magical powers! 🦄💖

🐾 Another C-section in the books! 🐾

This time, Dr. Leflore worked her surgical magic, and our team was ready to jump into action! 🩺✨

We got some great action shots of the whole crew stimulating puppies, keeping them warm, and making sure every little one was doing well. 🐶💕 It truly takes a TEAM to bring a litter into the world safely!

And honestly… is there any better way to end your day than surrounded by a pile of puppies?! 🥹🐾❤️

Great surgery + an amazing team + lots of puppies = a pretty perfect day at Riverbark! 🐶✨

🐾💕 **ALL HANDS ON DECK!** 💕🐾

Yesterday, our team had a very busy (and VERY adorable) day… **C-section Time!** 🐶🩺✨

Mama came in to welcome **NINE beautiful puppies** into the world, and from the moment that first little puppy arrived, it was truly *all hands on deck!* 🐾🐾🐾

While Dr. Blackman and the surgical team focused on Mama and the surgery, our team was hard at work stimulating each puppy, clearing airways, keeping them warm, monitoring their breathing, and making sure each tiny newborn was healthy and stable. 🥹💕

And Mama? **She did AMAZING!** 👏🐶 The C-section went off without a hitch, and we are so happy to say that **Mama and all 9 puppies are doing great!** 🎉❤️

One thing we don't think people always realize is just **how many hands it takes to make a C-section successful.** It's a whole team working together, communicating, moving quickly, and giving every single pup the attention they need the moment they enter the world. 🩺🐾

9 puppies = A LOT of tiny paws… and a LOT of teamwork! 😂🐾🐾🐾

✨️GREAT JOB✨️ to Dr. Blackman, our surgical assistants, and the VAs & RVTs on puppy duty!!! We're grateful we got to be there for such a special moment. 💕 Welcome to the world, little ones! 🌎🐶
