AWR will soon be welcoming Riggles. Riggles is a young male found in south Texas. He is current on shots and good with other dogs. Riggles is heart worm positive so he will start his treatment a couple weeks after arriving in Fayetteville. We would love to find a foster home for Riggles so he doesn’t have to be boarded. AWR will provide everything for his care so if you are available to foster please let us know.

Meet Rosie. This sweet little 35 # girl is waiting to be part of your family. She was a stray from a rural area in Louisiana. Rosie is about 1 1/2 years old and current on shots. Rosie is scheduled to be spayed and she will be microchipped. Unfortunately, Rosie is heart worm positive and will begin her treatment in about 2 weeks. DNA test is pending and then we will announce her breed. Rosie is crated trained, house broken, good with children and other dogs. If you would like to be Rosie’s new family please let us know.

Meet Pierce. Pierce is a SOS intake we are getting today. He was abandoned at his home in Missouri. We don’t know much about him, he is young, maybe 1 1/2 years old. The people who are caring for him say he is sweet, but a bit timid. He is good with other dogs. He will go directly to our vet to get vaccinated and neutered. We need a foster home for this boy ASAP. He can go to boarding/daycare, but because of his past we feel like he needs a home to Ilive in and have more attention. If you are available to foster and or adopt, please let us know right away.

Every rescue that comes through our doors has a story, and we are incredibly grateful to play a small part in helping them find the love, safety, and fresh start they deserve. But none of it would be possible without our amazing adopters, fosters, and volunteers. You open your homes, your hearts, and give these dogs the second chance they’ve been waiting for. Watching these dogs transform and become part of loving families is truly the reason we do what we do.

Transport needed!!! This is Rosie a young Weimaraner mix. Rosie is coming to us from Louisiana. We need a ride for her Sunday May 24th or Monday May 25th from Little Rock or Russellville to Fayetteville. We don’t have the exact time yet, but it should be early afternoon. Please help us get this girl to rescue so she can start a new life!
