Next on our tech friend list is our little kitten rescuer, Ashlyn! Anytime someone has brought in a kitten in need, she’s the one who helps nurse them back to health and helps find them forever homes. Her hard work, dedication, and love for the animals never go unnoticed. We are so lucky to have her as part of the GPPC family and are beyond grateful for everything she brings to our team each day. We’ll always be the Sharpie gel pen to your notebook! Happy Vet Tech Week, Ashlyn! 💚🐾💚🐾

Can you guess this breed?? 🐶🐶

Need a hint? 🧐 They may have short legs, but they were bred to be incredible hunting dogs! Their low-to-the-ground bodies help them follow scents, making them little tracking experts with big floppy ears and even bigger personalities (as demonstrated by Buford)! 🐾✨ Drop your answer below! ⬇️

In a field where we spend our days caring for animals who cannot speak for themselves, it’s easy to forget that the people behind the care need care, too. Veterinary professionals carry the weight of compassion, grief, difficult decisions, long hours, and the emotional responsibility of advocating for lives that mean everything to someone.

It’s okay to ask for help, take a step back, and put your own well-being first. Caring for animals should never mean losing ourselves in the process. Let’s break the stigma, support one another, and remember that the people who care for animals need care, too. 💚

And if you ever need a friend, an open ear, or a shoulder to cry on, never be afraid to reach out to us at GPPC. We’re here for you just as much as we are here for your pets. 🫶🏽🫶🏽

October is National Pet Wellness Month! 🩺 Annuals check ups are SO important in keeping your furiends healthy. We pride ourselves in helping you make sure your pet is up to date on their vaccines, preventions, and annual testing.

Got a pet that’s down with the sickness?? Don’t worry, we can see them for that too! Bloodwork, labs, and x-rays can also be done in clinic, or can be sent to an outside lab for more in-depth testing.

Our goal at GPPC is to have your pet even healthier than they were when they walked in. Go online, or give us a call, to get started and set up an appointment. We can’t wait to see you!!! 💚💚

🐱 Feline Friday 🐱

Regular vet visits, a balanced diet, dental care, and parasite prevention all help keep your cat healthy and happy. Cats are experts at hiding signs of illness, so routine care and observation are important, even when your cat seems perfectly fine. Watch for changes in appetite, behavior, or litter-box habits, and contact your veterinarian when something seems unusual. 💚🐾 After all, we just want them to stay PURRRRRFECT!!
