Update on Whimsy 💜 (graphic photo in comments)
Our sweet, chatty girl is having surgery Monday to remove both of her painful eyes, a procedure called an enucleation.

Yes, Whimsy will be blind afterward, but here’s the good news: she already can’t see now. So from her perspective, not much is changing… except the pain is going away. And THAT is a pretty big upgrade.

We need your help covering the cost of her surgery and care. Her estimate is posted in the comments, and every little bit helps.

Whimsy is a sweet, talkative little kitten that just came to us with severe eye issues and will be seen by our veterinarian today. We don’t yet know what treatment she’ll need, but we want to make sure cost is never the reason she doesn’t get the care she deserves.
