Hard to believe we’re one weekend away from Memorial Day Weekend and the unofficial start of summer. ☀️🐾

As we head into one of the busiest seasons in company history, I just want to say how proud I am of the team behind Solgave Animal Solutions right now.

🐾 Kailan — 4.5 years with us and one of the biggest reasons this company runs so smoothly.

🐾 Sara — brings true owner energy and helps anchor both dog walking + overnight care.

🐾 Tim — our semi-retired cat whisperer returns for summer travel season 😄

🐾 Genoah — joining the team part-time helping with pet sits and support visits around NWA.

🐾 Casey — now full availability this summer and becoming a huge part of our daily walking and overnight flow.

And for the first time ever… we were asked to help with a wedding. 💍🐶 One of our team members will literally be walking a dog down the aisle and I cannot wait to share photos 😂

We still have June openings for overnight care, cat sitting, dog walking, and vacation visits.

Mostly, we’re just grateful. This may be the strongest and most balanced team we’ve ever had.

Meet Sara 🌿🐾

Sara lives on a farm in West Fork where she cares for sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, and pretty much any animal life that finds its way into her orbit. She also grows herbal medicine for the local community and carries a calm, grounded energy that animals immediately seem to trust.

One thing I appreciate deeply about Sara is that she understands responsibility the way a fellow small business owner does. You can feel it in the way she communicates, the way she moves through homes, and the way she approaches the care itself.

You don’t often find “owner energy” from someone who isn’t the owner.

That’s rare.

Sara helps support our midday team a few days a week, assists with overnights when we’re overloaded, and has become one of those people that genuinely helps stabilize the flow of our little animal care family during busy seasons.

As we continue building this team carefully and intentionally, I’m incredibly grateful to have kind, capable humans like this beside us.

And yes… Allbe absolutely stole our hearts too. (Her 10 year old soulmate) ❣️

WELCOME AURORA ☀️🐾

We’re excited to welcome Aurora to our midday family!

Aurora just started with us on our 30-minute midday dog walking package and took advantage of our May Summer Promotion — where brand new clients can lock in our previous package pricing and experience what our midday system is all about.

One thing we love about this setup is the flexibility.

Aurora’s mom gave Kailan the green light to occasionally do a short drive to a better walking environment nearby, which opens up some fun enrichment opportunities for her throughout the summer. And when scheduling allows, package clients sometimes choose to “double up” visits for an extended one-hour adventure experience. ☀️

Right now, Aurora’s sister Willow is recovering from an ACL injury, so the goal is to help Aurora get some healthy movement, stimulation, and attention while mom focuses on Willow’s recovery. Soon enough, we’ll hopefully be helping the entire crew. 💛

We’re especially grateful because this comes during the exact seasonal shift where we temporarily lose a handful of our regular midday families to summer break travel and schedule changes. So welcoming two new midday families recently has been a huge encouragement for our little team.

I don’t know if it’s his fresh spring sweater, but my dog little bit is seeming extra cute these days. ❤️. We just keep getting busier, it must be the university, graduation and high school graduation but man are we slammed. Literally the busiest 14 day stretch in our decade of existence is happening right now. Who knows what the summer will be like, so we just keep doing our very best and stay grateful for this unique business we get to develop. Hope everyone is enjoying their spring! 🥰

For many of you, she’s simply “K” — and over the past 4 years, she’s become a huge part of what makes Solgave feel like home.

“Hi there:) I’m Kailan but most of my clients call me K! I’ve been with Solgave for about 4 years now. From a very young age I’ve always had this huge love and care for all animals. I’ve always believed that animals are so sacred - we have a lot to learn from their beautiful souls, plus you know the saying - you are who you surround yourself with haha! It’s safe to say this is more than a job to me, it’s a dream come true. Solgave is my second home & a place I truly feel that I belong, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Albert & Hazel 🐾

These two have quickly become part of our rhythm, and honestly… they’re just a joy to show up for.

When Dad travels, we double up their care to make sure they’re getting the attention they deserve — not just quick visits, but real time, real presence. Albert especially loves that last stretch where he gets his own little walk and some one-on-one time.

Hazel brings the calm, steady energy (with a little Pyrenees wisdom in there 🐻‍❄️), and Albert is just pure golden — friendly, curious, and always ready to connect.

This is what our mid-days are all about:
Showing up consistently, building trust, and making sure your pets feel safe, seen, and cared for… even when you’re not home.

We’ve been growing a lot lately with new midday families, and we’re really grateful for that momentum 🙏

🐾 Full Circle Kind of Day 🐾

Got to spend time today with Lucy 🐶, Rosie 💫, and Bella 🐱 — and man… this one felt extra special.

I remember when Lucy was just a puppy.
Rosie, my OG dog and when I first saw her, she wasn’t that old.
And Bella… the tiniest little kitten you had to hold like glass.

Now look at them. Grown, happy, and still part of our lives ❤️

This home sits out toward Goshen, so it’s usually covered by our east side crew — but with things shifting, Kaylin jumped in yesterday, and today I got to step back into the field myself.

And honestly… I’m grateful I did.

I don’t get to see many of our pet sitting clients much these days — I’m usually in the midday rhythm — so moments like this feel like the universe tapping me on the shoulder saying,
“Hey… don’t forget why you started this.”

Two visits today.
A year later.
Same love.

Hope everyone had a great weekend — we’re heading into a full week ahead 🌿
