We were so happy to welcome Dr. Sreevatsan, Dean of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. Tim Evans with University of Missouri Extension for a tour of our facility and a conversation about the challenges and successes of rural veterinary practice.

These conversations between alumni and those working in private practice and our colleagues in academia and education are so important. Open communication helps build a better understanding of the realities and challenges facing rural veterinary medicine, helps us better prepare and train the next generation of veterinarians, and ultimately helps us continue to strengthen our profession.

Thank you both so much for taking the time to visit, listen, and engage in these important conversations. We truly appreciate the opportunity to share our perspective and work together toward a stronger future for veterinary medicine! 🐾🐄

We are currently looking for a part-time kennel/veterinary assistant to join our team!

If you love animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you. We are a fun, hard-working, and collaborative crew looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and a true team player.

Weekend availability is required. Our primary need is for someone to work Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and, once fully trained, assist with the care of boarded and hospitalized pets on weekends.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care and wants to be part of a supportive veterinary team.
