Dr. Hendrickson and Dr. Slater had the opportunity to host a Swine Health Care Debriefing at the National Junior Summer Spectacular. The doctors were surround by the best in the industry and felt the information shared was very valuable. Purdue Veterinary Medicine Dean Bret Marsh joined swine producers, industry partners and veterinarians at the National Junior Summer Spectacular and Summer Type Conference at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

Hosted by the National Swine Registry and National Junior Swine Association (NJSA), the event included a Swine Health Briefing focused on animal health challenges and the role of producers, families, veterinarians and industry partners.

Dean Marsh also shared an update on the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine and its work in animal health, food animal agriculture and veterinary education.

First day of NJSA Summertype! We have done health checks on almost 200 trailers and are 1/3 of the way through health checks and everything is running very smoothly! We are looking forward to a fun week!
