🦟 Mosquitos are not only an annoying menace, but they can also transmit heartworm disease. These worms (up to a foot long) live in the heart, lungs, and blood vessels of infected pets and cause organ dmage as they grow and multiply.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Memorial Day! 🇺🇲 FAH will remain closed today, and reopen at 8am tomorrow.

🌞 While celebrating the unofficial start to summer, be sure to take a moment to remember our Armed Forces who have been lost over the years, including the animals that have joined them on the front lines!
🐾 From dogs to horses, dolphins to pigeons, mice to elephants, and almost everything in between, animals have a long history of assisting our military.

❤️ Memorial Day honors all our military members who have passed in the line of duty.
