Another year, another fantastic fall day at Eckerts! This year we had our new baby with us! Kyrene is our sweet little princess! The boys were so well behaved and everyone had fun! Starting the future of Crescent Shepherds will be so exciting!

Between Apple Picking (snacking 😋) and the tractor ride, Little Miss was tuckered out. She loved her wagon chariot! We can't wait until next year when she can stretch her legs with the boys!

Today is Apollo’s evaluation at a training center! Fingers crossed 🤞

I think Apollo may be getting a little bored with our training, so time to step things up a notch and indulge in our next adventure! On Thursday Apollo and I have an evaluation with a professional trainer to see which sport we should train for and compete in. The most important thing is that we find something that our boy loves and enjoys doing ❤️

Time to reveal a secret we’ve been keeping. After searching and waiting for the perfect female, we are extremely happy to announce that we found our Kyrene!

Kyrene is a co own between Crescent Shepherds and Von Shap German Shepherds. She is a solid black that carries long coat and liver for sure, but we will be getting an embark test done to see what all goodies she hides!

We are so excited to do sports and therapy work with our little Princess Kyrene and see what she brings to our future 💜🧡

We’re hoping that testing between Apollo and Kyrene will have good scores, so that in the future we can produce some amazing, level headed dogs that are smart, stable, and confident and will hopefully be perfect for a variety of things. Whether it’s therapy work, service work, sports, or just a family pet. We for-see a bright future for our program with this little on joining us. 💜❤️
