Franklin County Animal Shelter

Franklin County Animal Shelter Until they find their families, they're a part of ours. We provide medical treatment including vaccinations and sterilization to all animals prior to adoption.

Since 1974, our purpose has been to provide temporary care and shelter to stray, homeless, and abandoned animals. FCAS serves the community as an adoption facility where loving families and pets needing homes come together. The shelter strives to educate the public in the proper care of pets including increasing public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue.

Well, that's what we get for letting the spicy Golden Girl call out requests...at least she is adorable, that Mikka!

We are looking for donations of IAMS Beef & Rice dog food, Purina Year One Kitten food, any wet kitten food, and/or Purina Cat Chow. We are also always in need of bleach, to make sure everything is clean for the animals!

You can find these at most Walmart or Hannaford stores, and our complete wishlists on either Chewy or Amazon, and the links to both wish lists are below!

BINGO at the Farmington Fair is being brought back by the Farmington Elks Lodge this year, and we are so excited to have been asked to host one of the days! Join FCAS on Wednesday, Sept 23 from 12-8 by dropping by the BINGO tent and playing a few rounds for cash and prizes, buy some 50/50 raffle tickets, and if you can't make it that day, you can support some great causes - all week long!
