MANOLO HANOVER went on his first ever trail ride today and was so brave!! Also was his first time riding with another horse, which he was happy and excited about! Momo wasn’t at all phased by a deer running across the trail, no scary objects, and once he sniffed the little water crossing, he confidently went through it a bunch of times! Even did a little jump over it, he’s such a good boy.

We could see him becoming a fox hunting horse or something similar 👀 Truly just such a pleasurable horse to enjoy riding and spending time with. He has a great goofy personality too. 🤪

MANOLO HANOVER gets nicer and nicer every ride 😍 he is such an easygoing guy! Momo is loving the riding horse life for sure. He happily trots around with barely any contact at a lovely slow speed! He’s also been very brave and unphased by lots of construction going on. Such a good brain on this young man. Plus he has such a lovable goofball personality 😜

MANOLO HANOVER is taking to his under saddle life quite easily 🤩 today he had his third ride ever and first time in a big open space! He is such an easygoing young man who definitely prefers the slower life 😆 Momo has been very straightforward to train, and he has a comfortable trot too! He has also shown a really nice canter on lunge 👀 He’s going to make someone a really nice riding partner! 😍

Today “Momo” had his second ride ever and tried a bit of trotting under saddle! He took to it easily, and understands transition cues well, both on lunge and when riding. Such a fast learner and is showing to be very easygoing. He’s going to make someone such a lovely partner and friend! ❤️

Our newest adoptable horse was a star today, beginning his journey as a riding horse!
MANOLO HANOVER aka MoMo is Mr. Tall dark and handsome! This 4yr old black trotter gelding, by CANTAB HALL, stands about 15.3-16hh, with legs for days! Momo is a lean and lanky guy who is still growing, but would not be appropriate for a larger rider due to his light build.
Momo recently retired from racing with 4 clean legs and totally sound with no injuries! He just wasn’t interested in going fast anymore. Momo has been owned by the same owners since he was a yearling and is deeply cherished, so they want to give him a chance to succeed in something he may enjoy more! So a 5* home is of utmost importance!
Momo is just starting his journey as a riding horse but is learning to lunge and accept a rider. He is a cute mover and has shown some canter strides on the lunge!
Momo has great manners and is easy to handle and live with. His loves paddock time and although he can fancy himself a bit of a boss, he is not unkind and has been turned out with mares and geldings with no issues.
He has a lovely, goofy personality and should have no limitations. Momo will make a lovely partner for someone!
Stay tuned for updates!

And the foster gets commission on adoption fees for placing a horse!
