PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

If you’re driving past an animal rescue where animals are regularly abandoned at the gate, and you see people in the road with flashlights trying to catch a loose dog, PLEASE SLOW DOWN.

You hit the dog.

But hey, at least you yelled “SORRY!” as you sped off.

PLEASE. SLOW. DOWN.

Meet Zoe. 🐾❤️

Zoe is our Belgian Malinois, and if you know anything about Malinois, you already know there is a whole lot going on behind those eyes. 😂

She’s incredibly smart, fiercely loyal, always watching, and absolutely convinced that whatever I’m doing is somehow her business.

Life on the ranch wouldn’t be the same without her. She’s part protector, part shadow, part troublemaker—and 100% family.

Just look at that face. ❤️

🐾❤️ **MIDDAY NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY CHECK-IN!** ❤️🐾

North Texas Giving Day is in full swing, and we’re asking our friends to help us keep the bowls full, the hay feeders stocked, and the animals at **Shutter Down Ranch** cared for.

Every single day, our Farm Kids depend on us — and we depend on **YOU.**

Maybe $100 isn't in the budget today. That's okay.

❤️ **What about $5? $10? $20?**

When enough people give a little, together we can accomplish A LOT.

And if you can't donate, you can still make a difference — **SHARE this post!** You never know which friend, family member or animal lover will see it and decide to help.

Our mission has always been simple:

**Save those who can't save themselves.** 🐾

We can't do that without you.

❤️ Please donate to **Shutter Down Ranch** this North Texas Giving Day and help us keep doing what we love most — giving animals the safety, food, care, and second chances they deserve.

❤️🐾 IT’S NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY! 🐾❤️
Today, we’re asking you to help us continue doing what we do every day at Shutter Down Ranch — saving those who can’t save themselves.
2026 has been a difficult year. Owner surrenders are up, adoptions are down, rescues are full, and the cost of caring for the animals who depend on us continues to rise.

Right now, our Farm Kids go through:
🌾 1,600 lbs of hay EVERY WEEK🌾 About 200 lbs of feed EVERY DAY🐶 About 200 lbs of dog food EVERY WEEK
And with hay and feed prices continuing to rise, every donation makes a difference.

Your North Texas Giving Day gift goes directly toward food, hay, medications, and daily care for the animals who call Shutter Down Ranch home.
We know budgets are tight, so please know this:
$5 matters. $10 matters. $25 matters. Every single gift matters.
And if you aren't able to donate today, sharing this post is a wonderful way to help us too. ❤️
🐾 Every donation matters.🐾 Every share matters.🐾 Every animal matters.
Thank you for supporting Shutter Down Ranch and helping us continue to save those who can’t save themselves.
❤️🐴🐶🐷🐐 Happy North Texas Giving Day! ❤️
