Brew Chewz New Breed is a family owned company located in Fargo, ND. We specialize in making quality dog treat

New Breed uses spent grains from our local brewery to make quality handmade dog treats. We use spent grains from The Fargo Brewing Company's Wood Chipper IPA and Drekker's Broken Rudder. We add only organic ingredients to the spent grain to ensure a high quality product for your family pet. The treats come in a variety of flavors such as Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter & Blueberry, Peanut Butter & Banana, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Carrot. We also carry all organic Pumpkin and Carrot Training treats made with locally sourced organic flax.

I’ve basically been stuck inside unable to do anything fun or meaningful all summer due to this pancreatitis BS 🤬
So today I decided to bring the “workshop” outside! I’m putting together some hard sided cases I printed. They turned out amazing and are extremely tough and water tight.
It’s a little on the warm side, for my taste, but all in all it’s a beautiful day! The pups are enjoying the shade and getting in some “recovery” rest, after Buzzbee’s visit. I just found out today that Afton’s BFF Stevie is coming to stay this weekend. I haven’t told her yet but she’s going to be very excited!🤗❤️

Buzzbee came to visit for the night! Afton and “The Buzz” were just starting to get comfortable with one another the last day of his last stay with us. So today those two tore off into the yard to do zoomy chases for a good 20 minutes. With having to say goodbye to Ruca Thursday I really needed the extra companionship. When Denitsa found out she said we won’t bring Buzzbee over to reduce stress on you. I said “NO! Please bring him over anyway”. He is such a giant snf loving teddy bear. Most of the dogs we sit end up hanging out with Mary. Not Buzzbee. He’s my shadow and follows me EVERYWHERE!❤️ I’m very thankful to be surrounded by these pups. I don’t know where I’d be without them ❤️❤️

Today was the hardest day of my life. I said goodbye to my little princess, Ruca. I choose to believe she is running and playing with all of her friends and her siblings that preceded her. Natty, Gracie and Nubberz have been waiting for her. She was the best dog I’ve ever known and I love her so much. Anyone that knows me, even a little bit, know Ruca. She traveled the country with me on countless adventures. From AZ and CO to California, Oregon and Washington she was by my side. Head sticking out the sunroof trying to get that hound dog nose as many scents as she could. Her favorite places were Camper’s Paradise, Bozeman and Missoula, where she could see her uncles Luke, Matt and Chris. She loved tearing around the mountainside and rolling around in bear s**t or any stinky thing she could find in the woods or on the beach. She was also the unofficial greeter at the old taproom at FBC. They allowed her to be in the brewery without a leash because she was so nice and friendly to EVERYONE including other dogs. I worry about Ryder. She was his rock and they were inseparable. In fact, Ryder had shut down at the rescue after his brother was adopted. Other dogs at the rescue couldn’t get him out of his funk. The day we brought Ruca to meet him and see how they would react to one another, they sniffed each other briefly and went anout their separate business. However, the rescue said that was the first time in over a month that he interacted with anything or anyone. After that, they were right beside one another. He has Afton to keep him@company but they just don’t have the relationship he had with Ruca, yet. They’re both going to need extra love in the coming weeks and months. That’s good because they are going to get more than they are accustomed to. I think we all need the extra love moving forward. I normally wouldn’t have posted about this but Ruca befriended so many people over the years, I wanted to let people know. Please give your animals extra love tonight. You never know how long you have with them and all they want to do is please you and give you all the love they have to give. I will always miss and love you my little princess Ruca😢🥰

We made it safe and sound to Ontanogan, MI!!! This is a no reservation campground like Washburn, so it’s first come first serve. We were able to snag the last lakeside site and we’re not far from our friends Jeremy and Kelly’s site. They are locals who rent a spot here for the summer. We met them our first time out and they are wonderful people!❤️ For what it’s worth and I know a lot of people could benefit from this type of outlook. They are completely on the other side of the aisle when it comes to politics. Who cares?!? We just don’t talk politics and we have a great time because they’re really nice people. We all don’t have to agree on things like politics to enjoy the company of good people. If I was such an as***le that I couldn’t get over the fact we don’t agree on politics, we would have never been lucky enough to make new friends. Just something to think about in these extremely charged political times. It’s time to enjoy our “private” beach snd let the dogs have some fun!

It’s our third time going to the UP of Michigan. More specifically, Ontonagon MI. Currently we are in Washburn, WI right off of Lake Superior. Ruca be Ryder have been with every time but this is Afton’s first trip! The pups do really well in the car and we’ve been letting Afton up on the front seat to give old lady Ruca and Ryder a little more space on the back seat. Today we stopped at a little town called Cornucopia, WI and they have a little fishery. Every time we’ve passed through, no one has had eelpout/lawyer/burbot. This time they had two packages so I bought them both! 🤗🤗 I also picked up some whitefish that was caught this morning. So tonight I made us “hobo” potatoes loaded with potatoes, veggies, butter, cream of chicken or mushroom soup and I added raw whitefish to mine. I’ve also got some shrimp to grill tonight for shrimp cocktails tomorrow for lunch. Tomorrow we’ll take the dogs swimming and then I’m taking off (maybe with Afton) to go hit the MTB trails. Apparently they are all over and great trails!🤗🤗. With all the hospital visits and medical BS over the past 7 months, this excursion was needed. It’s nice to get out of Fargo and the house. Even if you’ve got a day off. When you’re home the work is never done 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Buzzbee arrived on Friday.❤️ He and Ryder are besties, so they’ve been playing hard and will be until Buzzbee leaves next Sunday. Then we got a last minute call to watch Stevie. Of course we said yes!❤️ Now Afton has HER bestie here too! It’s a full house with 5 large breed dogs but they seem to get along very well. I very one wants to use our sitting services lately!!😳😳 I would too, as opposed to kenneling them 😢 Here, they get constant attention, are rarely ever kenneled, we follow all food, medication and training regimens(as requested) and your pups get full run of the house, furniture, treats, large kiddie pool and can even sleep in our bed (if they so choose). It’s like a big dog party 24/7. 🤗🤗❤️

The water is really down this year. Our beach has grown by an additional 15 feet, at least. It hasn’t been this low in over a decade. Afton can be 50 yards out in the lake and the water doesn’t touch her chest. She’s had the zoomies all weekend! 🤗🤗 I love being able to take our dogs places they can really enjoy and have fun!❤️🤗🤗

The dogs are having a blast at Camper’s Paradise! It’s Ruca’s favorite place in the whole world❤️ She’s been having a rough couple of weeks, so it’s nice to see her happy and with a little extra pep in her step.
