We wanted to share an update from one of our past pups. We absolutely love hearing from our loyal friends and customers:
Hi!
We wanted to reach out and give you an update on Ember now that we've had her for about a year.
She is doing wonderfully and has become such a loved member of our family. Ember is incredibly sweet and gentle. One of our favorite things about her is that she almost never licks people. Instead, when she wants attention, she'll quietly put her nose as close to your face as possible. If you don't respond, she'll slowly move it closer and closer until you finally give in and pet her. It's impossible to resist!
She's also made some wonderful canine and feline friends. She absolutely adores her kitty brother and loves spending time with her two Goldendoodle uncles, my daughters' dogs. She loves being outside and exploring, although leash walking is still a bit of a struggle for her. We're continuing to work on it.
Ember is still shy around new people at first, but once she gets to know someone, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet personality. This summer we discovered something hilarious: she is obsessed with cucumbers! If I'm picking them from the garden, she'll try to steal them, and if she can reach them on the plant, they're not safe there either!
She's also become quite the little character around the lake. For most of the summer she wasn't too interested in the water, but just last weekend she swam for the first time. Even before that, she loved sitting in the water like a little observer, content to watch everything happening around her. She's such a goofball and keeps us laughing every day.
Most importantly, Ember is healthy, happy, and very loved. We are so grateful she became part of our family and wanted you to know she's doing great.
