Mutt Life Safe Haven inc. As a safe haven, our mission is dedicated to providing hospice care to seniors and animals with special needs.

We strive to ensure seniors and disabled animals have a warm, safe home and do not have to spend their last days in a shelter environment.

🐾 Update on Sweet Roxie! 🐾

​A few days ago, our sweet senior girl gave us all quite a scare. Roxie went to bed like any normal night, with no warning that the next day would have us holding our breath.
​When her foster mom woke up the following morning, she found Roxie bloated and lethargic. We rushed her right over to the wonderful team at Spotsylvania Animal Hospital.
​Thanks to the incredible skill, quick action, and compassionate care from Dr. Braman, Dr. Corbett, and the entire staff, Roxie is on the mend! ❤️ She is recovering smoothly and is doing well back in comfort.
​Senior pups hold a extra-special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the vet team who helped bring this sweet girl through a scary moment. Please send Roxie some love and gentle head scratches in the comments below! 👇🐶💖

These adorable little faces are just 3 weeks old and already stealing hearts! 🥰🐱 As bottle babies, they’re getting lots of love, care, cuddles, and plenty of tiny meals to help them grow big and strong.
Their eyes are wide open, their personalities are starting to shine, and those little paws are already keeping everyone wrapped around their tiny toes! 🍼💗

Look how much these sweet girls have grown! 🐾✨
​From tiny, palm-sized kittens back on April 13, 2025, to these gorgeous, confident adults captured on July 23, 2026, when their mom took them for their annual checkup with Dr. Katherine at Spotsylvania Animal Hospital!

​They used to be known as Snap & Crackle, but now these beautiful ladies go by Cayenne & Angel. We just love watching them blossom into such stunning cats! 😻💕 We are so thrilled to be able to share their update with you!

🚨 NEW ARRIVAL ALERT! 🚨
​Everyone, please welcome our newest—and tiniest—little resident! Weighing in at a whopping half a pound, this sweet orphaned orange baby is settling into their cozy setup. 🧡
​We aren't the only ones completely smitten, though. Big brother Flipper couldn't resist dropping by to inspect the new arrival and give them a warm welcome! (We think he's already taking his "big brother" duties very seriously. 🥹)
