🚨🚨PSA FOR ALL DOG PARK VISITORS 🚨🚨
Beginning Monday, 8/24/2026, The Town of Falmouth will have crews working in Brick Kiln Road between Gifford Street and Sandwich Road on weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The work will be ongoing for approximately 6 weeks as sewer and water lines are being laid along Brick Kiln Road. This will affect access to the Falmouth Dog Park during these hours so expect delays and possible rerouting, such as entering only from either Gifford or Sandwich roads. It is anticipated that there will be an allowance for "local traffic only" in the area, which will include getting the Dog Park. We have been told that there will be a point in time when crews will be working in front of the park entrance, possibly preventing access until that section is complete. We hope to be able to provide more detailed information regarding access during the duration of the project, especially with regards to any temporary Dog Park closure. Starting Wednesday August 19th, Maravista Avenue will reopen between Nickerson and Randolph, and Randolph Street / Spring Bars Road will be closed between Maravista Ave and the southern entrance to the Mall. See new detour map below.
