People For Cats We are a non-profit no kill organization that is run solely by volunteers on donated funds, food.

People for Cats also finds suitable homes for adoptable homeless cats. Each calendar year we are proud that we have placed approximately 250 cats in homes. We also reduce the feral population with our trap,spay/neuter
and release program. We want to educate the public on how to prevent overpopulation, the importance of taking their pets to the vets once a year for booster shots and a general heal

Ava was very shy and was Mikey's shadow when they were at the shelter a year ago.
Ava is still shy and likes to be near Mikey, but shoulder to shoulder rather than trailing behind. Ava is no longer terrified of people and allows an occasional pet.
She spends lots of time in their catio and has even snagged some prey through the wires recently.
Mikey is amazingly smart, trusting, and affectionate. Ava watches Mikey being cuddled. Maybe wondering if some day she'll want to do that too? Both cats have settled happily into their home!
