🐾✨ MEET OUR NEW GROOMER, JENA! ✨🐾

Bear-y Clean is GROWING!! 🤎🤠

I am so excited to officially introduce Jena, who will be joining Bear-y Clean FULL TIME starting September 15th! 🎉

Jena and I have been working and training together behind the scenes to get her ready to join the grooming team! She will be offering full grooming services, including haircuts, just like me! ✂️🐶

With Bear-y Clean continuing to grow (and my schedule now booking nearly TWO MONTHS OUT 🤯), I knew it was time to bring on another groomer so we can get your pups in sooner while still giving every dog the time, patience, and care they deserve. 🤎

✨ GOOD NEWS — YOU CAN BOOK WITH JENA NOW! ✨
Her online booking is officially OPEN for appointments September 15th and after! 🗓️🐾 So if you've been waiting to get your pup on the schedule, you can go ahead and snag a spot with her now!

Brushing isn't just about keeping your dog looking nice.

During the summer, regular brushing helps remove loose undercoat, dirt, and debris that can become trapped in the coat. It also helps improve airflow to the skin and reduces the chance of painful mats forming—especially after swimming or spending time outdoors.

One thing I've learned over the years is that the brush itself matters just as much as brushing regularly. There are a lot of slicker brushes on the market, and honestly, they aren't all created equal. Using the right one makes brushing more effective and much more comfortable for your dog.

If you're not sure where to start, I've shared one below that I think is a great option for many dogs and their owners.

You don't have to brush for an hour every day. Just a few minutes several times a week can make a noticeable difference.

Sometimes the simplest routines have the biggest impact on our dogs' comfort.

🤎✨ Bear-y Clean Pet Grooming’s SURPRISE ✨🤎

I have been working hard behind the scenes creating my very own line of handmade collars, leashes, and slide-on bandanas! 🐾
Each item is made by hand, so they won’t be available on my shelves just yet while I build up my inventory. I wanted to give everyone a little sneak peek because I’m so excited to finally share what I’ve been working on! 💕

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE:
🐶 Can you engrave my dog’s name and my phone number on the collar?

Yes! I’ll be able to laser engrave your pet’s name and your phone number right onto the metal buckle of the collar.

🎀 Can you put my pet’s name on the bandana?

Absolutely! I can customize the bandanas with your pet’s name in vinyl for an extra personalized touch.

Everything is handmade with lots of love, and I can’t wait to have them ready for you all! Thank you so much for supporting my small business and all the new adventures Bear-y Clean has been taking. ❤️
I’ll be sharing more sneak peeks and letting everyone know as soon as they’re officially available!

🐾 Exciting News! 🛁

Starting now, my sister will be helping out at Bear-y Clean Pet Grooming with bath appointments from 1:00 PM - 4:45 PM!

This means we’ll have more availability for baths while I continue focusing on haircuts and full grooms.

Bath appointments include:
🐶 Bath
💨 Blow dry
🪮 Brush out
✂️ Nail trim
💙 Bandana

Please note: She will be doing baths only—all haircuts and grooming services will still be completed by me.

If your pup just needs a fresh bath and a little pampering, we’d love to get them scheduled! Send us a message or book your appointment online. 🐾

🚨 NEW SERVICE: Emergency Haircut Appointments 🚨

My schedule has been filling up quickly lately, and I know sometimes pets end up needing a groom sooner than the next available opening.

Because of this, I will now be offering Emergency Haircut Appointments for clients who need to get their pet in as soon as possible and are unable to wait for my next available appointment.

🐾 Emergency appointments will be scheduled outside of my normal business hours or on days I am not normally working.

🐾 An additional $40 Emergency Appointment Fee will be added to the cost of the groom.

🐾 Availability is not guaranteed and will depend on my schedule.

This option is intended for pets that need to be seen urgently due to severe matting, unexpected situations, upcoming events, last-minute travel, or other circumstances where waiting isn't ideal.

Thank you all for keeping Bear-y Clean Pet Grooming so busy! 💙🐾 If you think your pet may need an emergency appointment, feel free to send me a message and I'll do my best to fit you in.

I mean this post in the nicest way possible! 💙🐾

Lately I've had quite a few no-shows, last-minute cancellations, late arrivals, and pets being left for hours after their appointments are complete. As much as I love all of your pets, these situations make it very difficult to keep my schedule running smoothly and can result in a significant loss of income for my small business.

I also want to remind everyone that Bear-y Clean Pet Grooming is a grooming salon, not a boarding or daycare facility. We do not have designated potty areas, and once your pet's groom is complete, they should be picked up within 30 minutes of being notified that they are ready.

Because this has become a recurring issue, I will be updating my policies moving forward.

🐾 Less than 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules: $10 rescheduling fee.

🐾 No-shows: 50% of the scheduled service cost.

🐾 Arriving more than 15 minutes late: Appointment will be automatically rescheduled and subject to the 50% no-show fee. Grooming appointments are scheduled back-to-back, and when a client arrives late, it pushes back the next client's appointment and puts me behind for the rest of the day.

🐾 Pets must be picked up within 30 minutes of being notified they are ready. Please schedule your pickup time accordingly.

🐾 A $10 late pickup fee will be charged after the 30-minute pickup window has passed. An additional $10 fee will be charged for every 30 minutes thereafter.

I truly appreciate every client who trusts me with their pets, and I understand that emergencies happen. These policies are not meant to be harsh or punish anyone. They are simply in place to protect my time, my business, and to ensure every pet receives the care and attention they deserve.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support of my small business! ❤️🐶🐱
