Dogs don’t live very long and it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot as my dogs get older. I’m getting less worried about things like a little leash pulling. Well, he won’t get to sniff the ditches for the next eighty years, it could be less than five at this point, so I just let it go more often to give them extra experience and enrichment. There’s not much time when you think about it.
