Reign On Standard Schnauzers Perservation and Reputable Breeder, AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit, member of SSCA since 2015 and PVSSC. Specializing in Pepper and Salt Standard Schnauzers.

Breeding for the Future: Temperament, Health and Structure. Quality and healthy standard schnauzers. Current members of Standard Schnauzer Club of America, Potomac Valley Standard Schnauzer Club and the Decatur Kennel Club. Currently located in a small little down south of Huntsville, AL. All dogs are Owned and shown by Katrina and her husband Chris. Currently we have 4 female Standard Schnazuers and 1 mini schnauzer. Update on Summer:
Summer is home. She’s on some pain meds. She goes back 10 to 14 days for stitches out. Summer has her peach recovery suit on. The incision on her neck has a bandage due to needing to keep pressure on it.
It will be a bit before we get the results back on the two lipomas that were removed.

One on her side was easy. The lipoma on her neck was suspicious hoping it’s not liposarcoma, it was wrapped around her artery in her neck and a couple other things. This one came back, she has surgery to remove it back in December of 2024. So hopefully we’ll hear back soon on it.
The next step is to save up for a trip to Auburn U. to hopefully have lipoma on her leg removed. That one is a complex surgery, therefore it requires a surgeon to remove the tumor. It’s because all the arteries and muscles and everything else like that near her knee so we figured that would be the best place to go is Auburn University. I was hoping my vet could do the surgery but with the complexity of it she referred us.
I was hoping this would have been a one surgery deal with her, but things don’t always go as planned. So say some more prayers for Summer and us. I am thankful my hubby, Chris will be home with her while I am visiting my sister. So right now lots of hugs and love for Summer.
