We would like to address a certain situation that has happened to us in the past month. We sold a puppy to Cori Jenson who travelled from Washington D.C. on August 4 to meet and pick up the puppy. Before leaving we had our vet do a vet check on the puppy and we received a health certificate showing that everything looked healthy. Everything went well until 9 days later on August 13 when Cori reached out that the puppy was pretty sick with coccidia and giardia. Before receiving any vet records, we refunded Cori the full purchase price according to our contract. We were later informed she had died of pneumonia and sepsis on August 24.
She has since demanded us to go into written agreements on how we should run our business and refund additional expenses of all her travel and vet. If we did not respond in 10 days, she would be suing us. Tuesday, I received a phone call from a man saying he was calling about a puppy. Today I answered a phone call from the same man saying he was a friend of Cori Jensen. He said if we do not resolve things with Cori, he will come and cause harm to me and my family. We have contacted the sheriff, and they are aware of the situation. We are notifying our surrounding neighbors and doing our best to make everything safe. We just wanted to inform everyone of the seriousness of the situation.
