🐱💕 National Hug Your Cat Day 💕🐱

Today is the perfect excuse to give your favorite feline a little extra love! Whether your cat enjoys being held close, curled up beside you on the couch, or simply receiving a few gentle chin scratches, take a moment to celebrate the special bond you share.

Remember—every cat shows and receives affection differently. The best “hug” for many cats may be a cozy lap, a favorite treat, or some quality playtime together.

Give your cat an extra cuddle (if they’ll allow it!), snap a photo, and tell us what makes your feline friend so special. 🐾❤️

If a hacker stole my phone, they’d gain access to an embarrassing number of photos of my dogs and cats. Not secrets. Not money. Just pets. Lots and lots of pets. 🤷🏻‍♀️🐶🐱

Rabies is real. Rabies is deadly. And rabies vaccination matters.

Just because you’ve never seen a case of rabies doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Rabies is a fatal viral disease that affects both animals and humans, and once clinical signs develop, it is almost always fatal.

Rabies vaccination isn’t a gimmick or an unnecessary expense—it’s a critical public health measure that protects your pet, your family, our team, and our community.

It’s also important to understand that if your pet is not current on their rabies vaccination, veterinary hospitals may be limited in the services they can provide. For the safety of our staff and other patients, we reserve the right to decline or delay services until rabies vaccination requirements are met OR require sedation to protect our staff.

Protect your pet. Protect your family. Keep your pet’s rabies vaccine up to date. It’s one of the simplest and most important things you can do for their health and the safety of everyone around them. 🐾💙

🇺🇸 Holiday Pet Safety Reminder 🐾

As you celebrate with family and friends this holiday weekend, don’t forget to keep your pets safe too! ❤️🐶🐱

• Avoid unsafe foods such as fatty foods, corn cobs, chocolate, grapes, alcohol, and other table scraps
• Avoid loud noises or provide pets with a safe, quiet, noise-free environment
• No fireworks around pets — fireworks can cause severe anxiety, burns, injuries, and escape attempts
• Monitor for signs of heat exhaustion including lethargy, excessive panting, weakness, vomiting, or collapse
• Keep pets hydrated with plenty of fresh water, especially during outdoor activities
• Make sure pets are properly contained and that collars, ID tags, and microchips are up to date
• Be prepared and know where your local veterinary emergency hospital is before an emergency happens

A little preparation can prevent a holiday tragedy and help keep your pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free this weekend. 🐾

Some people just have a special way with animals — and Suzanne is one of them.❤️

Suzanne has been part of the FAC family since before, when Dr. Anderson owned the clinic. Over the years she has comforted and cared for countless pets like they were her own. Whether it’s extra cuddles, gentle reassurance, or patiently sitting with a nervous pet, she always goes the extra mile to make sure every patient feels safe and loved.

One of Suzanne’s greatest gifts is her ability to help anxious pets relax and trust us. So many pets who once came in scared now walk through our doors excited to see her — and that speaks volumes about the love and compassion she pours into her work every single day.

We are so thankful for everything Suzanne does for our patients, clients, and team. FAC wouldn’t be the same without her. 🐾

Happy Birthday to Dr. Freeman! 🎉🐾

Cat-loving, Taylor Swift dancing, and one of the fiercest advocates for her patients — Dr. Freeman brings compassion, heart, and dedication into every room she walks into. She patiently guides clients through both the joyful moments and the difficult ones, always making sure pets and their families feel supported and cared for.

FAC simply wouldn’t be what it is without her, and we are so thankful to have her as part of our family. 💙

If you see her today, be sure to wish her a very happy birthday! 🎂🐱✨ .spiv.freeman
