We are proud to be in compliance with the American Kennel Club’s inspection and care standards. An AKC inspection means an AKC representative has reviewed our dogs, our facility, and our records and verified they meet the organization’s care and condition policies. This includes proper housing that is clean, safe, and appropriately sized, access to fresh food and water, daily care and positive interaction, and accurate records for every dog and litter registered with AKC. The inspector also confirmed that each dog has proper identification and that our records are complete and well maintained. AKC inspections are confidential and not every breeder is inspected, so maintaining compliance reflects our commitment to responsible breeding, transparency, and the well-being of our dogs. This gives our puppy families confidence in the environment their puppy comes from.

As many prepare for back to school, I've made a handout of my own, clarifying breeder responsibilities.

These will be in puppy folders if I ever bring myself to have another litter. If you don't think this is funny and stating the obvious, you might be part of the problem.😜
