Millennium K9 OG TOMMY

Tommy has been apart of the Millennium K9 pack since 2021 and is often here for alumni boarding at least once a month.

He’s what you might call…spicy🌶️
And because of his sassy attitude , he is not a great fit for a lot of high volume daycare type settings. Instead, he stays here where his unique quirks are catered to and appreciated.

He has formal obedience from his first board and train with me years ago and is actually here for a month long stay where we decided to add in some advanced off leash obedience…because why not!

Training never stops. I love to see him learning new stuff, even 5 years later, that will continue to expand his skillset

Discounted program this month!

As you all know, Millennium K9 programs book out 3+ months at a time but this month a dog needed to be moved to a later date due to a medical diagnosis. Since this pup will be getting healed up over the next few months, that means his spot is open!

This is a highly requested time slot because it means a well trained dog by the holidays!
Up to a 4 week Board & Train for any dog older than 6 months that will begin as soon as September 14th. I am discounting it by 15% for a ‘Bark to School’ special!

What makes Millennium K9 different from other board & train programs?

Simple: It is not a facility and that’s intentional.

Dogs don’t live in a sterile training environment here. They live in a home and learn how to navigate real-life situations, real distractions, and real-world expectations. They experience the same things they’ll encounter when they go back home. People at the door, walks through neighborhoods, outings, the dreaded mailman and everything in between.

I’m also a one-woman operation. Your dog isn’t being passed between multiple trainers or handlers every day. From the day they arrive to the day they go home, I am the one working with them, caring for them, and helping them progress through their training journey.

Dogs here aren’t kept in a kennel all day waiting for their training sessions. They become part of my daily life. They join me for family dinners, hikes, neighborhood walks, outings, and even quiet evenings watching a movie on the couch. This allows me to work through behaviors as they naturally occur and teach dogs how to make good choices in the situations they’ll actually face at home.

I intentionally keep my program small so every dog receives individualized attention and training. Your dog doesn’t need to be social with other dogs to succeed here. Whether your dog is fearful, reactive, anxious, or simply needs obedience training, I meet them where they are and build a program around their specific needs.

No two dogs are the same, so no two training programs should be either. I believe in appreciating a dog for who they are instead of forcing them to be something they are not.

Because training isn’t about teaching dogs how to behave in a facility where everything is controlled. It is about teaching them how to succeed in everyday life because real life is chaotic. I want to prepare dogs for the unexpected.
