It's been a hell of a year. Between building coops, moving all 200 birds to the new property, packing up the house, moving, remodeling the old house to get it on the market.....plain insanity for a couple old farts.
All the birds started molting early August instea of late September like usual....guess it's going to be an early miserable winter.

How many of y'alls birds started early?

Video of my 6mo Chocolate Mottled group....took 3 years to make them because everything else I found was on the small side and not robust like they're supposed to be. I will be doing the same with Lavender Mottled next year.

House is finally done and will be on the market this week. Now I can do some serious chickening again ❤️❤️❤️ Picks are from the day we bought it and what it currently looks like. Hopefully someone into homesteading buys it. Chicken coop, built in rabbit hutches under the deck, a 16x16 pig pen, peach tree, pear tree, plum trees, apple trees, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, 30x50 veggie garden....and a privacy fenced 1/2 backyard.
