Best bet is prevention. Avoid ALL shared dog locations, items and start an immune boosting protocol. This is potentially fatal so you can not be too careful.

๐Ÿ›‘All clients need to quarantine 2 weeks before coming on site ๐Ÿ›‘

โœ… Protect your dogs and mine by being fully transparent. โœ…

In addition to the items mentioned in the picture quarantining means ALL contact with dogs outside your household. That means no pet store trips, neighbor play dates, incoming furry house guests, unnecessary vet trips etc.

This is potentially wind born and there is not enough information yet to know how long surfaces could be contaminated so even if the park is empty or you do not see any other dogs does NOT mean there is no chance of infection.

All clients will be required to sign a disclaimer specifically on this issue before coming on site.

(If you already have dates booked I will be contacting you individually asasp to update client paperwork)

It is an honor and a joy to pet๏ฟผ-sit for my clients. I end up getting attached to the fur babies that I take care of, and it always saddens me when one of them passes over the rainbow bridge, esp unexpectedly.

Theo had such a big personality. He was very sophisticated and slightly stubborn, just as Scottish Terriers should be. I will miss this sweet boy. Thankful to have known such a sweet little soul. ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒˆ
