We are all good and safe!!
All dogs are just as happy and no one had any trouble. All goats and chickens were kenneled and brought in and despite being mad at me they are okay lol. We had some trees fall and lots to clean up but nothing important was hit. Very grateful.

Kai learning an “off switch.” Inside is the classroom, outside is recess. The place board is where we teach that mindset. You have to teach dogs how to be bored. Yes, even working breeds. It’s like children. If every moment of boredom was solved by handing them a tablet, their tolerance for the art of doing nothing without stimulation gets lower and lower.

You see it all the time when people get working breeds. There’s this misconception that you have to keep them busy, all of the time. While mental and physical stimulation are nonnegotiables, so is the ability to just be. Kai’s doing wonderful, I’m just on my education soapbox today.😉

I really do get emotional some days and today was one of those. These 3 came, each with their own struggles, but they’ve grown together. I watched Oliver fall asleep on place and let me take his collar off in the kennel full of food. Daisy didn’t look away from me once this entire walk, despite dragging a long leash and able to go where she wanted. She was confident and pushy and we even joked about getting a BH with her!! Boots was off leash and ignored the other dogs and goats and recalled every time. THIS is what matters. This is what makes us different from cookie cutter sit, down, stay programs. People want to live life with their dogs!

This dog is at Cefco on 98 between Publix and eastern shore chiropractic and sport clinic. It is a female and she will not let us catch her. I am sharing in hopes her owner sees and might have better luck. She looks well fed but scared.

Meet Stevie. I pulled her from the shelter back in March. That’s 6 months she’s been here, waiting for her forever home. She has a blast with playing with other dogs, us, and all, but she desperately needs and DESERVES her person. I’m just a stop on her journey to her forever 🌻

A little about Stevie: she is 2-3 years old, a bully mix, and is going through the same training as any of our dogs will go. That’s right… you will get an already trained dog with lessons to help you learn what she knows and to continue your relationship together. She’s up to date on vaccines, spayed, and up to date on Credelio Quattro. Heartworm and parasite free. She is full of happiness and joy. Please consider giving her a chance. Message me for any questions. She’s not going to just anyone.
