Bär is a pretty tough case. He knows he can chew thru a leash and run away. Here we are reworking that.

A quick reminder: tools are what we make of them. He currently sees the leash as the thing standing between him and safety. We’re working to show him that the leash is actually what leads him to safety, comfort, and all the good things.

I’m a grandma now.🥹

We’re entirely grateful for everyone’s patience in the weather. Safety is our #1 priority so it’s important everyone stays clean and dry which can be a lot when your yard is a lake. Response times have been slower because we still want to make sure everyone gets the exercise and care they need.

It’ll be awhile before Bär feels safe but that’s okay. He’s in the perfect spot to learn and grow.
