After Maggie's owner died, she was brought to Fairhaven Animal Shelter and continues to steal the hearts of everyone she meets. Let's find her a new home.

Lucky has finally found her forever family! Since she has been in returned twice we were extra careful on finding her new home. It was a bitter sweet moment saying goodbye but we are very confident that she will be happy with her family.

Meet Colorado! She is a Podengo about a year and a half old. She's a little nervous when she meets new people but warms up quickly. She gets along with most dogs. She was recently spayed and fully vaccinated. Please stop by next week and meet her. We are open Tuesday through Saturday.

We have been getting a lot of questions in regards to the so we wanted to make one post to address how to make monetary donations. We can only take check or money order dropped off or mailed to the shelter at 200 Bridge Street Fairhaven, MA. We do not have a system in place to make donations online via credit card at this time. The only way is by mail or in person, we will be open tomorrow from 9am-3pm. Happy 100th birthday Betty White!

Koda has been adopted! We had a lot of applications for one dog, making it very difficult on us but she found a great home! Good luck Koda!

Lucky is this weeks wet nose Wednesday!

Lucky is a one-year-old beagle mix with lots of love to share. After her last two homes didn't work out, she hopes to find the perfect family this time around.
