Fall Pet Safety Tips! 🐾🍂

Fall is here, and while cooler weather, colorful leaves, and Halloween fun make this season special, there are a few things pet parents should keep in mind!

🎃 Keep Halloween treats away from pets’ chocolate, candy, and sugar-free treats can be dangerous for dogs and cats. Keep the treat bowl out of reach. 🍭
🕯️ Be careful with candles & decorations- Curious pets can knock over candles or chew on decorations. Keep them safely out of reach.
💥 Check for ticks- Ticks can still be active during the fall months. Keep your pet protected year-round and check them after outdoor adventures.
🍂 Be mindful of shorter days- With darkness arriving earlier, make sure your pet is visible during evening walks. Reflective collars, leashes, or lights can help.
🍂 Watch those leaves & mushrooms- Pets love exploring outdoors, but fallen leaves, mushrooms, and other plants can sometimes be harmful if eaten.
