🐾💙 Meet Jasper! 💙🐾

We had the pleasure of meeting Jasper yesterday for one of his first veterinary visits. As a new kitten, regular veterinary care is an important part of helping him grow into a happy, healthy adult cat.

During these early visits, we focus on wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition, and answering any questions his family may have as they begin this exciting journey together.

Jasper was an excellent patient and, of course, enjoyed his Churu treat afterward! 😻

We are grateful to be part of Jasper's healthcare team and look forward to watching him thrive with his loving family. 💙🐾

☀️ **Hot Weather Reminder for Tomorrow! ** ☀️

The temperatures are expected to be high tomorrow, and we want to help keep both you and your pets safe during your visit to **Hometown Veterinary Care**. 🐾❤️

Here are a few important reminders:

🐾 **Hot pavement can burn paws. ** If the pavement feels too hot for the back of your hand after a few seconds, it's too hot for your pet's paws. Whenever possible, walk on grass or carry smaller pets into the clinic.

🚗 **Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle. ** Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can become dangerous in just a few minutes.

💧 **Bring water** if you're traveling a longer distance to help keep your pet cool, comfortable, and hydrated.

🚙 **Waiting for your appointment? ** You're more than welcome to wait in your vehicle with the air conditioning running until a technician is ready to es**rt you inside. If you'd rather come into the clinic to stay cool, please feel free to do so—we're happy to accommodate you and your pet.

🐶 **Watch for signs of overheating, ** including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, bright red gums, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice any of these signs, contact a veterinarian immediately.

Your pet's comfort and safety are always our priority. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe during this hot weather!

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your furry family members a few extra belly rubs from all of us at **Hometown Veterinary Care! ** 🐶🐱💙
