China lifts ban on rhino and tiger parts for Traditional Chinese “Medicines” >

>Animal conservationists are alarmed over China's decision to partially reverse a ban on the trade of tiger bones and rhino horn.

>In a statement announcing the replacement of the 25-year old ban, the State Council said powdered forms of rhino horn and bones from dead tigers could be used in "qualified hospitals by qualified doctors".

There’s nothing “qualified” about rhino horn and tiger bones in medicine! BS! No science!

Minjin and I were able to transport 3 really sweet pups, Macy, Bella, and Merlin, picked up near the SC border from Vicki w/ Halifax Dog Squad this past Sunday 9/16.
We timed it in between the heavy storming and river flooding from Florence to meet up in Annandale Va. with Randi Martin Demberg who coordinated with folks down there to get 30 dogs out of the shelters, making room for others left behind during evacuation.
