Meet Cora! She is currently about 4 months old and scheduled to be spayed this week. Once that is done, she can go to her forever home!
Her story:
Cora was found wandering around outside our office manager's house at just 8 weeks old. She was incredibly skinny and had a terrible upper respiratory infection as well as wounds on her face and neck. She was brought in and treated for her URI and wounds and ate like a piglet from day 1. She has never protested a thing that had to be done to her and takes everything in stride. All she wants to do is give head bumps and get cuddles.
Her respiratory infection cleared up quickly, but the wounds on her neck and head didn't seem to be progressing as they should...we quickly found out why.... she had several cuterebra (fly larve) in her wounds 😝. They were successfully removed and her wounds are almost completely healed now.
Now that she is feeling better, she is turning into a regular kitten who wants to play 24/7. She isn't afraid of dogs and would love another young cat/kitten or cat-friendly dog to play with.
