Not broken anymore! This little pup had too much fun with his housemates in the yard. He had a Y fracture of the humerus. But we got him fixed up today and in 6 weeks he should be good.

This past Sunday we had our annual service dog event, where we give free exams to service dogs in the tri-state area. The dogs get to be examined by the various doctors and specialists at Cincinnati for all their different body systems. It’s a heart-warming event to get to help these wonderful animals that help their humans every day!! I got to do my exams with rehabber extraordinaire!

This is my boy Gunner! Today is his 12th birthday. We took a lung tumor out of him when he was 9!!! Thanks to surgery and the consistent management and chemo with in medical oncology, he has thrived and is living his best life!!! Enjoy that pup cup Gunner!!

Breaking up the 6 TPLOs with a little cat colon resection. Here we have residents year 1, 2, and 3 learning how to do colonic tumor resection in a cat. Our amazing anesthesia team led by Kaitie Ban and performed by Alysia Huff kept this old kitty going. She will then transfer to our amazing critical care team and Corrina Palko to be best cared for in recovery.
