Our tulips are done showing off for the season. Anyone wanting to dig bulbs to plant for next spring, feel free to stop by the clinic this weekend to get as many as you would like. Bring your own shovel as we didn't leave one outside. Please only take from the window boxes in front of the clinic.

Congratulations Kylee! On Friday, September 12 she delivered a beautiful baby girl! Ophelia Jean weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

For anyone that follows SELCAS page, they thanked us yesterday for our help recently. Now, it is our turn to show you what the men and women there do. Upon finding this dog in a burning house in Chenoa, she was unresponsive, but still alive. They quickly administered oxygen through a pet mask they carry with them. Phone calls were made on the scene and since the dog was near Michelle's house, she went to see if she could help. More calls were made and Megan was reached and arranged for Dr Jackson to see this dog after hours. Approval to transport Phoenix via ambulance to Fairbury was received and off she went. No burns were present on the dog, just smoke inhalation and irritated eyes from the smoke and soot. Had the emergency responders not started oxygen immediately, this dog would have died.
In a world where everyone seems to be fighting lately, always remember that there is good in the world! Look no farther than your local fire fighter or paramedic . Thank them when you have a chance and just know that they will care for you in your time of need with gentle hands and kind souls!
