💔❤️🩹 TLC Fam,
I wanted to share an update and thank you for your patience and understanding. I have been extra quiet lately, and there are many reasons. Some of you know, but for those who do not, I lost my mom unexpectedly about a month ago. She was my last remaining parent since my dad passed away when I was 11 years old. I am an only child, so I had to plan and arrange everything. Thankfully, I have the best husband, my total rock, and a small but strong support system.
Another thing some of you know, but most may not realize, is that in between work and personal responsibilities, we have been the main caretakers for my husband's (very much mine too) granny and great-aunt. Since my mom's passing, my grandmother's and great-aunt's health have both taken a drastic decline due to heart and kidney failure. Wednesday was Grandma's 88th birthday, and she had to be admitted to the hospital. Yesterday, the family was called to her bedside. I received the heartbreaking news last night that our sweet Granny has passed away.
At the same time, my great-aunt, her 84-year-old sister, remains in fragile condition after a major fall two weeks ago. She was treated at Grady and is now in rehab, recovering from a broken shoulder and four broken ribs. Because they were so incredibly close, we don't know how she will handle this loss.
I'm going to need some time to be present with my family and take care of myself, so I may be slower in responding. Please know that I will continue to honor my existing commitments, but I may not be able to accept new inquiries or immediate requests at this time.
I truly appreciate your support, patience, and understanding during the most difficult season of our lives. Thank you for being there for me and for always supporting my small business and my passion for your babies. ❤️ Much love to you all.
Christina
