Time for a long overdue update!
We could not be happier with how our first fair week went. Maverick and his buns rocked it!
🐇All 7 rabbits brought home a ribbon and for showmanship Mav got to bring home first place 🥇 for his age group and fifth place for the 8, 9 and 10 year olds!
We are so proud and can’t wait to see what they do next year!

Earlier in the summer we had to say “goodbye” to our resident big girl, Applebloom. It was unexpected and we were ill prepared for the loss.
Tonight we are asking for some prayers and well wishes for our big bad boy, Pistol Pete. He’s unable to walk around successfully and he isn’t holding his head up as he should be. Still interested in food (of course) and being uncharacteristically sweet. I’m not ready to say goodbye to my big boy!

Mav and his bunnies are officially all settled in for their first fair week!! We can’t wait to see how the buns do. Maverick and his little sister have both worked very hard this year with their show rabbits so I’m proud no matter what happens but both kiddos have a show, and both will do showmanship so we will see how they all do! Good luck to everyone this week 🍀

Now time to load the calves up for check-in 🙃🐮
