The Slithery Surprise is up for adoption!

All three ball pythons have been vet checked and are ready for new homes. All three are also easily handled. Very curious. And already on frozen thawed prey items. Great eaters!

Approximate age for all three ball pythongs is between 1-2 years. No age was given at surrender so this is based off weights (all around 950grams) and lengths of around 36 inches.

These three boarders are now enroute to their new home Outside, in the lower 48.

It's been fun caring for the two Brazilian Rainbow Boas and the little tarantula and it was even more fun packing them up. What was interesting was the one that I thought was gonna be the most difficult to pack up was one of the easier ones to pack; the cute little tarantula went right into his deli cup once I coerced them out of their tiny cork round. One of the snakes, however, did not want to go into a confined space and decided to come out and play for a bit, which was fine. Oh Steve you silly playful boy, I will miss you 😁

This is Spooky. She's a 1.5 year old Brazilian Rainbow Boa currently in my care while their owner drives to their new home Outside. She's one of three animals I'm taking care of for him. He could have taken them with them on his journey, but it would have required permitting for all three due to CITES to go through Canada, so he decided to "board and ship" with me instead.

These really are beautiful snakes. I've only got another weekend with them and then they get shipped off to their new home next week.

**FULLY BOOKED AT THIS TIME!**

A couple weeks ago the upstairs reptile room got some improvements, again. I didn't think it was possible, but I managed to fit more in the upstairs reptile room. ( This video is a couple weeks old.)

We currently are boarding two rainbow boas, a tarantula and a leopard gecko.

My tortoise also lives in this room and the four rescues left in the Slithery Surprise that are up for adoption.

This is Meely. She's staying with me for a month.

She gets fed outside of her enclosure so we had to build a trusting little relationship where I transport her from one enclosure to the other.

She's very sweet. And watching her eat and hunt crickets and dubia is so entertaining. Her little tail goes up as soon as she spots one, and then she gets it!

Look at that beauty! This guy's name is Steve the snake. I think it's a great name.

I'm very much enjoying taking care of the two cute little Brazilian Rainbow Boas. They do tend to hide quite a bit, but that just means I get to play hide and seek with them every night trying to find them.....
