I am very pleased with this 10-month-old puppy. Not the best pictures but we can all see what a great reach and drive he has! Frank has the bones, the body, the hair, the movement and the look. He keeps getting better as he matures. We love you, Frank (Prata’s Fly Me to the Moon) proudly bred by us in house (no outside stud used for this breeding).

Today I am a proud breeder as sweet Petunia May just graduated her puppy school. Her momma Carol is doing an amazing job with her and Petunia has a wonderful family. She also has a lovely OES sister named Kenzie. I am so proud of you all and all the updates we receive in private. PS: isn’t Petunia so cute? 🥰

Hello, you all! Today is a great day for the Prata’s OES team and we would like to share the news with you all. We finally got the results we were waiting for two of our female dogs. My beautiful Regina (JCH JBIS JBISS Regina Royal Croft) who achieved the best grade with the OFA and was found to have Excellent hips. Also, my sweet Anitta (Prata's Girl From Rio) bred by us and she was found to have Good hips following the pattern of her lineage where all dogs that have been tested were found to have Good hips. Among all the tests they both have been tested for, you will find Hips, Elbows, Thyroid, Cardiac, Eyes (CAER), Hearing (BAER), EIC, MDR1, Cerebellar degeneration, PCD and Embark tested for over 240 diseases (including our breed specific diseases). I am so proud to announce that their tests were accepted, approved and now the girls also qualified for the OFA-CHIC program. Their CHIC certificates were officially generated today. I am glad and relieved to see the results publicly posted on the OFA database and those certificates in. From now, their relatives and future generations can always go back to check on their health panel. We are here creating a stronger and healthier lineage by selective pairing our sires and dams. 🥰

Prata’s Fly Me to The Moon at 9 months old showing in Springfield MO has gone 1st/WD/BW/BOBOH every single day and has been highly complimented by all the judges who judged him. What a stunning boy I have created. You give a million reasons to be proud of you Frank. 🐶 🏆

This is a very nice basic tutorial of how to brush a double coated breed. Although the canine model used in the video was a Shetland Sheepdog, the same technique can be applied to the OES as well. Hope it helps.
