Dog Training Club of Chester County (DTCCC) The Dog Training Center of Chester County is a nonprofit dog training center based in Exton PA. Classes teach force free, positive reinforcement training.

DTCCC offers a large variety of dog training classes including Basic Manners pet classes, Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT), Advanced Manners, Obedience, Agility, Flyball, K-9 Nosework, Freestyle, Rally-O, CGC/TDI, Clicker skills, Treibball, Show Handling and more. There is something for everyone. DTCCC is open to the public. Our instructors are CPDT certified professionals. The center is large, e

asily accessible and climate controlled. Classes are fun and use positive reinforcement and science-based techniques to help handlers develop a bonded relationship with their canine friend that will last a lifetime. Hours vary, please check schedule for class times.

We would like to welcome Beth Cashwiler to the DTCCC team!

Beth Cashwiler has been passionate about canine training since 1998, building extensive experience in competitive obedience, agility, earthdog events, and K9 nose work. About eight years ago, she joined the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW), where she discovered a deep passion for nose work and its ability to enrich dogs’ lives by tapping into their natural instincts. She especially values how nose work strengthens the bond between dog and handler through communication, trust, and teamwork.

Beth is currently enrolled in the NACSW Instructor Program as a PNWI and is working toward achieving her CNWI certification. In addition to her canine training experience, she brings more than 30 years of professional experience in the dental field, including eight years of service in the United States Navy as a Second-Class Dental Technician and Petty Officer.

Beth is dedicated to helping students and their dogs grow in confidence and connection as they begin their own nose work journeys.

Thinking about agility? Start with the foundation skills that make future agility training successful!

This class is designed specifically to prepare dogs and handlers for agility by developing confidence, body awareness, motivation, and teamwork. You'll build the skills needed to create a strong foundation before introducing agility equipment.

Skills include:
✨ Body awareness exercises
✨ Confidence-building games
✨ Handler focus vs. forward focus
✨ Recalls
✨ Start-line stays
✨ Working comfortably on both sides of the handler
