We can’t believe that this adorable cat hasn’t been scooped up yet! Lady Bug 🐞 has been waiting at the Princeton Petsmart way too long wondering when her family will come! She’s watched a whole bunch of cats & kittens go home…and she’s more than ready for her turn! Please consider this sweet & sassy young cat if you’re looking to add a singleton to your family and a whole lot of cuteness & fun! Volunteers are there Sat & Sun 12-5pm! Original post below!

Cutie baby Lady Bug is about 9 months old. Lady
Bug had it very rough, she was born on the extremely rough streets of Kensington in Philadelphia and was rescued from a group of kids throwing rocks at her.
She's adorable and a little saucy. She loves to play and snuggle. She's definitely a kitty that prefers to be the only pet and she'd be an awesome companion cat or family pet as long as she's given lots of lovin' and playtime. After her start in life she just deserves the best family. She's at the Princeton Petsmart and volunteers are there tomorrow from 12-4pm!

Today we had a quick visit with Shadow and boy oh boy were we shocked, surprised and so thrilled at how amazing this guy is doing! As a reminder, Shadow is 15yo cat that was dumped at ACCT Philly in April when his “family” became frustrated that this full grown male cat weighing in at less than 6lbs was having litter box accidents. Rather than take him to a vet they left him at ACCT and he was quickly deemed a Code Red for his untreated and out of control hyperthyroidism…working with our friends at North Jersey Kitty Committee we got him out in the nick of time. Shadow had immediate vet care and some loving fosters…but his life really took a turn when his new mom adopted him in June. This gorgeous boy is positively thriving and is HUGE! His fur is gorgeous and he and his mom radiate happiness. If only every cat could land like Shadow our hearts would be full! Please consider being a hero for a cat in need…there are so many and the difference you can make is demonstrated by this post! Beautiful Delphine was found outside alone and brought to a cat sanctuary where she wasn’t very happy as she let it be known she likes to be an only cat. She’s approximately 5-6 years old and sweet & chatty! She’d love to be the Queen of her castle and is waiting at the Princeton Petsmart to meet her forever family. Volunteers are available on Sunday from 12-5pm!

In addition the four lucky older cats that were adopted recently, these lucky kitties also found forever homes over the weekend! Last week we were so happy about Goldie & Nugget who had been with us for quite a while and finally found a forever home! Today we are just as thrilled as Mia & Michelo, two older cats who were in a precarious situation about 8 months ago and actually ended up at AHS Newark after their owner died but were fortunately quickly picked up by a family friend who was able to hold temporarily and advocate for them! When they came to our attention we happened to have the most loving, patient foster available who took them in and today has officially decided she can’t be without them and we are sure they feel the same. The outcome for these precious cats could have been very different if people didn’t step up and work to find them safety. If more people inconvenienced themselves when friends or family pass many more beloved, but suddenly homeless pets could have this kind of outcome. It’s a wonderful way to start the week and we hope God continues to bless this happy new official family!

We have two great events tomorrow! Cats and many kittens will be Rosedale Town & Country from 11am-4pm. We will also have cats and kittens at the Princeton Petsmart, 111 Nassau Park Blvd from 1230-5pm. Also remember we will

Tonight marks a big milestone for us….the last two cats from Anna Fiorelli have found a forever home. If you recall, we took a whole bunch of cats from Anna after she passed away almost two years ago and Nugget & Goldie an extremely bonded pair have been waiting for a forever home since. They’ve been loved and cared for by a terrific foster but they deserve a real home…tonight they join Sweet Pea, (a former housemate from Anna’s home) and her wonderful mom and other cat siblings! We are over the moon for them! Good things come to those who wait and while we came close to placing them over the last 1.5 years it never quite happened but we think this is their moment! Much happiness for everyone involved!
