Good morning peeps! Just a little chilly here but wanted to share this sweet little post on this beautiful Sunday.
Horses tend to make a big impact in our lives. My mare has made a difference in mine. She literally has been there through some of my most hardest heartbreaking moments and some of my most celebrated moments. From my parents dying to me losing weight to me starting this program and being able to use her to teach children that it’s okay to be scared but to learn confidence on her. She is patient and kind and and gentle. A couple of weekends ago, we went to our local fun show and this little girl showed her in the beginner under 11. She placed in the class with fourth place and got her a ribbon in a big class. I was so so proud of them.
Now mind you, she’s 4, but she has fell in love with Peaches. She has ridden the others but she loves her Peaches. No matter what people say, horses have such a profound effect on children and I’m so very thankful I can share my love with these kids and teach them what it’s like to have the responsibility to own and care for a horse the correct way. So proud of my mare and the horse she has become. But also proud of the person she has helped me become
as well along the way.
