Here at Pawsome we get it. You're probably used to dropping your dog off at a daycare, check the cameras and see 30 dogs wrestling each other down with no breaks for hours on end.. we won't lie.. sometimes you check our cameras and see a couple pups zooming around like crazy or everyone alert barking at the doorbell. But the times when you check the cameras and see your dogs quietly sleeping, don't be alarmed. Daycare was never meant to be a place to wear down your dog so it can sleep overnight at home. Day-care refers to maintaining dogs natural schedules that they're used too at home, playing in separate groups based on temperament, size and playstyle, getting one on one attention, care and mental stimulation using a variety of enrichment activities from puzzle feeders, to lick mats and frozen kongs, to basic tricks or sniffing games to use their brains. Proper day-care is proper fulfillment. A happy dog with exercised brains and body that can take a nap alongside others when they all need a break for their body and brain to rest before going back to do even more fun things all together. No "place" commands, no crates, no tie outs, no forced breaks. Just a happy dog who's body and brains needs to recharge willingly choosing to rest before being active again. And don't worry, they come home just as tired. Except with a minimal stress levels experienced through the day by both their brain and body.

Can't believe Valentine's Day is actually on a Saturday this year!

We will be putting the boarding dogs to work making cards! Also considering hosting a little get together with the card supplies on the 13th for our friends to make cards as well....
