Shel Graves Animal Consulting uses positive reinforcement training to help animals (dogs, cat, humans, and all) be relaxed, confident, playful, and safe together. We have a heart for shelter and rescue animals as well as senior dogs and cats. When animals have experienced the worst humans can be, we show them the best -- and watch them blossom! We are there for difficult transitions and conversati

ons including end-of-life and grief counseling.

Welcome to our first seminar Sunday with Ashley!!

This seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of canine enrichment, teaching you how to enhance your dog’s physical and mental health, reduce stress, prevent boredom, and support their instinctual behaviors. You will learn about the different types of enrichment, see hands-on examples of enrichment tools (puzzle feeders, flirt poles, herding balls, toys, etc), and understand why enrichment is essential for a happy and healthy dog! You will also have the opportunity to create a recycled DIY enrichment toy and prepare a Kong, Toppl, or lick mat for your pup at home. At the end of this 45-minute seminar, you will leave with a deeper appreciation of canine enrichment, full access to Ashley’s enrichment guide, and some love-filled goodies to bring home to your pup.

Please bring a Kong, Toppl, lick mat or other enrichment toy to prepare for your dog. Fillings and toppings will be provided, but feel free to bring your own treats if your pup has any allergy or health concerns :)

Senior dog class! A class designed just for our golden oldies 💛

In this class we talk about the changes our senior and geriatric dogs go through. We teach new skills to help set them up for success in this phase of life. From tricks to recall, vet handling and settling well at home. This is by far one of our favorite classes. It’s so much fun seeing our old dogs tap in to problem solving and learning again.
