****This fee does not include current clients. If you are a current client, or if we have already discussed training, it will still be FREE for you!****

Due to an increase of bookings and in order to provide the BEST care and training to you and your dog, there will now be a fee of $15 for 4 home visits, plus $3 per additional dog. Behavior consultations or second opinions on the training that you've already done are only $5. I want to keep my training services as accessible as possible, so I'm still trying to keep the price low while still trying to provide the best service as I can. Thank you everyone for the support lately! 🫶 I learn more every day from every visit with each dog.

Classical Conditioning is a great way to not only help socialize your dog, but to also help neutralize them to sensations that scare or overwhelm them. Giving them a high value treat while a dog is near, while it's thundering, or perhaps during fireworks, will help rewire their brain, associating those stimuli with something positive! 🐕

Today i had the greatest pleasure of meeting Kayla. Her mom has done great at training her to be an amazing service dog and she does wonderful doing commands. However, Kayla is very anxious, which causes her to be reactive towards other dogs. She also is very scared of loud noises when not in the safety of her own home, on top of having bad separation anxiety from mom. Today was just the meet and greet. This weekend is when the real work starts!

Today I worked with recently adopted Marty! We went over the sit-down-stay sequence. Mom admitted to being a sucker for him and giving in when he wants the treat, instead of waiting for him to display the desired behavior. He did great! He has started to learn what 'wait' means, and is learning that, until he does what his mom wants. he's not gonna get what HE wants. We also went over some basic leash manners.

We'll meet in the middle with mom again later this week!
