Remember Handsome? The dog who spent weeks on the run before finally being safely trapped? After being scared, uncertain, and ultimately surrendered by his family, Handsome—now known as Huey—is getting a fresh start and is available for adoption through PAAWS. 🐾

Here’s what Huey’s foster family had to say: “Huey is a great dog. He plays well with my three dogs. Not cat tested. He’s had NO accidents at all. He knows when he needs to go outside. He isn’t kenneled at night but he is kenneled when we leave home. He also knows his name. He needs a 6ft fence privacy fence since he can jump anything shorter and can climb chain link.”

Huey’s adoption fee is SPONSORED with approved application AND someone is offering food, baths and nail trims for the rest of the year!

We got to spend some time with Nemo on Saturday, and this senior fella quickly worked his way into our hearts. 💙

At around 9 years old, Nemo is all about enjoying the simple things in life—good company, a few hugs, and spending time with his people. We had a blast hanging out with him, snapping some pictures, and getting a few quality Nemo hugs along the way. 📸❤️

Nemo is as chill and easygoing as they come. He's the kind of dog that's perfectly happy just hanging out by your side. No puppy shenanigans here—just a sweet, loyal companion looking for a family to share life with. 🐶

Senior dogs are often overlooked, but they have so much to offer. Nemo has already mastered the important things in life and is ready to spend his golden years loving a family of his own. 🏡✨

🐾 **Buck Journey Update!** 🐾

First, thank you to Buck's new heroes for opening your hearts and your home to him. ❤️

We are excited to share that Buck is settling in wonderfully in his new foster-to-adopt home!

Buck now has an older fur brother and even attended his first day of daycare at The Yellowbone Doggy Ranch, LLC. From everything we're hearing, he's doing fantastic.

We almost hate posting these updates because we never want to jinx anything, but we have a really good feeling about this one.

Here's how it all happened...

As many of you know, Buck has a special place in a certain Mr. Don's heart. Last Friday, EACC allowed Mr. Don to showcase Buck at their adoption event so people could see the amazing dog we all knew he was outside of the shelter environment. It was a wonderful opportunity for Buck to shine away from the noise, stress, and frustrations of shelter life.

And shine he did.

Buck was a hit with everyone who met him, but one visitor in particular took notice. Mr. David spent some time with Buck and told us he would be back. We hear that a lot, so while we were hopeful, we weren't sure what would happen.

Well, about 30 minutes later, there he was again—this time with his wife and their little fur baby for a meet-and-greet.

The connection was immediate.

They made plans to come back the very next day to bring Buck home, and true to their word, they did. They even allowed Mr. Don to help transition Buck into his new home, which made the experience even more special.

It's still early, but Buck is already settling in, making new friends, and starting the next chapter of his life. We couldn't be happier for him.

Thank you to everyone who shared his posts, cheered him on, and believed that his family was out there waiting for him.

Keep being a good boy, Buck. We're all rooting for you. ❤️🐾
