🐾 MICROCHIPS & CITY LICENSES — LET’S TALK ABOUT IT! 🐾

We want to remind everyone about an important change to our City ordinance regarding your pets.

If you live within the City of Evansville, dogs, cats, and ferrets are required to be microchipped AND have a City license.

Why is this so important? Because our number one goal when a lost pet comes through our doors is simple — GET THEM HOME! 🏡❤️

A registered microchip with current contact information can help us identify an owner quickly and reunite a lost pet with their family instead of having them sit at the shelter while we search for their humans.

📍 EACC offers microchips for $25.
🏷️ A lifetime City license is $10.

Already microchipped? Please make sure your chip is registered and your phone number and address are current. A microchip can only help us if the information attached to it is correct.

And remember — collars and tags can come off, but a microchip stays with your pet. 🐶🐱

⚾🐾 We had a paw-some time at the Evansville Otters game last weekend! 💙 Our team loved getting out, meeting so many wonderful people, and cheering on the Otters. And of course, we couldn’t leave our four-legged friends out of the fun! 🐶⚾

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us—we can’t wait to do it again next weekend! 💜
