“Natural” doesn’t mean safe—and “pH-balanced” doesn’t mean right for every dog. 👀

Those labels may sound reassuring, but they don’t tell the whole story. Poison ivy is natural. Essential oils are natural. That doesn’t mean they’re safe or appropriate for every dog. 😂

Skin and coat health depend on the product’s actual pH, your water’s pH, how they interact, your dog’s individual skin, and what the product is designed to do.

That’s why I focus on what a product actually does—not just whether it says “natural,” “organic,” or “pH-balanced.”

Skin and coat health is something I take seriously. I’m not just washing your dog and giving them a pretty haircut. I’m looking at their skin, coat, the products I’m using, and what your individual dog actually needs.

Healthy skin and coat come first. Always. ❤️

This is Stella. ❤️

Stella is a Pomeranian who came from the club — literally, if you know, you know. 😂 She is a VERY special little girl.

Stella has a luxating patella in her back legs and arthritis, so she really doesn’t like having her back legs picked up and messed with. And I don’t blame her!

So we’ve changed the way we do things. I’ve started holding Stella in my lap to shave her paw pads and trim her nails, and she actually does really well this way. She’s comfortable, she’s calm, and I’m still able to get her feet taken care of without putting her through something she doesn’t like.

This is one of those little things that might not seem like a big deal, but to me, it’s what grooming is about. We don’t have to force every dog to do things the same way. Sometimes we just need to listen to them and find a way that works for them. Check my story to find a video there!

And Stella? She’s a princess. 👑

So obviously, she gets princess treatment. Always. ❤️
