Something looks awfully different about this Highland cow, but we can’t quite put our finger on it… 🤔

When Blaire arrived at Heartland Animal Shelter, it took time and lots of love for her sweet personality to shine through. Then, at an Adopt Joy event at PetSmart, she met her forever family within just 20 minutes, and they absolutely adore her 💙 This weekend, more adoptable pets got that same chance to meet their people at Adopt Joy events across the country. Here’s to the next happy beginning!

Old guy Mumo really needs your help!

This sweet 12-ish year old dude was found roaming the streets matted and super uncomfortable. Thanks to our friends at South Suburban Humane Society, he’s been cleaned up and checked out and he’s landed a spot with us. Now we need to find him his forever home! We know that taking on seniors can be tough sometimes, but living in a loud kennel this late in life and being mostly blind is hard. He needs and deserves a comfy bed, lots of love, and to be spoiled rotten! Email us at [email protected] if you’re interested in meeting this dude and let’s find him a home!

This sweet boy is looking for a home ❤️

UPDATE: I believe we have someone who is a perfect fit and if that doesn't work out there is a 2nd person also willing. Thanks to all who shared! The family is very grateful.

Bear and his people need our help. Bear is an 11 year old Maine C**n mix. His owner died recently and his daughter desperately wants to keep Bear BUT she is in the Marine ROTC program and has to go to Officer Training school in Virginia for the next 6 months and there is no way she can have Bear with her during that period. Bear needs to be an only cat and all of her friends and relatives have other cats. This is a big ask but we are hoping to find someone who would be willing to provide Bear a foster home during this period. The cost of care would be covered - he just needs a loving home to live in until he can be reunited with his family. This young woman just suffered the sudden loss of her father and now she is serving her country. Please help us make sure she doesn't lose her father's cat as well. If you think you could help please email [email protected] and we will put you in touch with the family.
