Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸

To keep your pets safe this holiday weekend, remember to:

1) Keep them inside so they don't get scared from loud noises and run off. Check that their surroundings are secure as well (i.e. fences).
2) Make sure they are wearing collars with updated ID tags.
3) Refill sedative or anxiety medications now to have on hand if necessary.
4) Make a comfortable and quiet space for them to retreat to if they get overwhelmed.
5) Provide plenty of fresh water to keep them hydrated in the heat.
6) Avoid ingestion of toxic foods (onion, chocolate, grapes) and toxic chemicals (bug repellents, citronella candles) while out barbequing and hanging with friends.

Thank you to Halas and his family for sharing his 10th birthday celebration with us! 🥳

Halas is a an explosion of energy and will always be a puppy at heart. He comes equipped with a smile and wagging tail, and ready to chase the ball from wall to wall during his appointments. It’s always a great day when Halas comes to play!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hannah Stocklein to Berglund Animal Hospital beginning June 3rd!

She will not be seeing patients yet as she completes her orientation and onboarding. Stay tuned for updates and be sure to give her a warm welcome if you see her at your next visit as she gets aquainted with the hospital.
