At Rex's Place, our enrichment dog daycare has a mission: We want to stimulate and enrich the lives of the dogs who visit us by providing them with a stress free home away from home experience. But just like at home, we have expectations. We are not just a place for dogs to run off excess energy. Rather, we have a unique socialization and enrichment program that creates a

a positive experience in neutral territory. And that reaps benefits We can reach and engage dogs on three levels: social, physical and emotional. Obedience practices play a big role in our every day routine. We challenge every dog 's ability to adapt, thrive, gain confidence and develop into a social, mindful and content canine companion. Dogs are taught to respect one another (and staff), understand their imitations and the limitations of others so that they can co-exist with dogs of other sizes and breeds. At Rex's Place, dogs will learn to play, chase, stop, come, rest and wait politely at the door until their name is called for a walk of lunch. Please meet London Purple Rain. That is her formal name. London is just fine. our leadership team has had an opening sinice Seaquel left us and London applied for the job. She is 7 weeks old and looking forward to meeting all of you. She met her brothers for the first time today but that was not as interesting as the peanut butter cake Jeneen made to welcome her.

This is the time of year when we're usually letting you know about a kennel cough outbreak. We're not advising you of the yet; however, dogs are highly sensitive to seasonal changes, experiencing shifts in mood, energy levels, and appetites as weather and daylight hours fluctuate. We're been seeing if with some of the dogs that are staying with us and hearing it from some of you as well so, just know that this IS the time of year you will see some of those changes.
